St. Catherine of Sweden Parish is committed to helping develop the faith life of all its members, from preschool-aged children to adults. Following are some of the programs offered for the children and youth of our Parish. Please note that all students in grades 1 - 8 are required to be enrolled in the Faith Formation program. (Students attending Catholic schools are exempt from attending Faith Formation classes, but are still required to participate in sacramental preparation programs offered by the Parish.)
FAITH FORMATION CLASSES – In accordance with the Diocesan directives that Faith Formation programs should follow their school district's decisions with regard to suspending in-person learning due to Covid, our Faith Formation classes held at St. Catherine of Sweden Church will be moved to a virtual setting for the month of December.

At Home Family Program – Open to All Students in Grades 1-8
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Level I
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Level II
Our Level II Atrium is open to all incoming First Grade students, as well as 2nd and 3rd Grade students who have been in the Atrium in the past, on a space-limited basis. (We are unable to accept new 2nd and 3rd grade students to this program at this time.) Like Level I, Level II of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is based on Montessori principles, and draws the students into a deeper relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd, through active, hands-on works that allow the child to explore the Faith in a truly engaging, developmentally-appropriate manner. For more information, please email Julie Thimons at juliet@scospgh.org.
